As a designer for dance, theatre and film I have been privileged to work with some of the most notable choreographers, directors dancers and actors of their generation and I am the Creative Director for Light Theatre Company (LTC).

After over 40 years working in theatres and opera houses internationally I returned to a more personal arts practice As a visual artist I make prints, photographs and other mixed media works and I have exhibited widely in Europe and Australia and have work in public and private collections and I was Artist in Residence at both Creative Spark in Dundalk and at The Belfast Print Workshop. In 2019 The Market Place Arts Centre and Gallery hosted a major retrospective Designs for the Theatre exhibition and my solo Falling or Flying exhibition was at An Táin Arts Centre, Dundalk and has subsequently been included in several live and virtual exhibitions. My most recent exhibitions Mark Making - Then and Now was at the Belfast Print Workshop in May 2023.

I have lectured in art and design at graduate and postgraduate levels including at The Slade School of Fine Art and I was appointed as the first Administrative Director of the Perth Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA) and worked as the arts consultant for major development projects. I have been practising yoga and homœopathy for over 40 years, following a major road traffic accident.
